Little Scholars School of Early Learning Yatala opened its doors. Our very first campus marked the beginning of a remarkable journey. From day one, Jae’s enthusiasm, commitment, and dedication to the children and families in our care have remained unwavering. Our mission has always been about helping to create amazing little humans.
We implemented full non-contact leadership teams – campus manager, assistant campus manager, educational leader and admin support – to ensure that our campuses are fully supported and focused on providing children with quality education and care for our families.
At Little Scholars School of Early Learning, we believe in fostering a deep connection between children and the natural world. That’s why we introduced our Bush Kinder program in 2017 because we recognised the profound benefits of outdoor exploration, adventure, and hands-on learning in natural environments. Bush Kinder allows our little scholars to develop a love for nature, enhance their physical and cognitive skills, and instill a lifelong appreciation for the environment. It’s all about nurturing curious minds and adventurous spirits, one step into the wild at a time.
Little Scholars School of Early Learning George Street opened its doors in February 2018. This CBD campus in Brisbane City, purposefully built and family-owned, offers a homely environment where every child is encouraged to explore, imagine, and find a safe place to call their second home. Its unique location, which we affectionately call it our campus in the sky, is perfectly located for those who work in the centre of the city. We have the largest indoor playground around, and even offer valet service to ease families’ traffic headaches.
We embarked on a transformative journey as we introduced “The Scholars Group.” We believed it was time for a name change that better reflected our evolving vision and mission. This change signaled our commitment to providing exceptional early childhood education and care under a unified banner. The Scholars Group is the parent company behind Little Scholars School of Early Learning.
Our partnership with Baby Give Back marks the beginning of a heartwarming journey. Little Scholars School of Early Learning and Baby Give Back share a common vision – to give every child the best possible start in life. Together, we strive to create a brighter future for all by providing essentials and support to families in need. Our collaboration is a testament to the power of community and compassion, ensuring that no child is left behind on their journey to success and happiness. Our families and our campuses have stepped up and raised money, donated and collected goods and volunteered to support this fantastic charity and the tens of thousands of people in our community who rely on Baby Give Back.
Jae Fraser and Andrew Heslehurst launched the Fraser Foundation. This foundation aims to provide financial assistance to aspiring educators seeking a rewarding career in shaping the minds of future generations. Through grants and scholarships, successful applicants gain access to tertiary studies and research in the field of early childhood education.
At Little Scholars School of Early Learning, we’ve welcomed a dedicated quality practice manager to uphold our commitment to excellence. She ensures continuous improvement in our programs, regulatory compliance, and staff development. Our quality practice manager also fosters strong parent and community engagement, creating an enriching environment where your child can thrive.
We expanded our Intergenerational Program in partnership with Odyssey and Feros Care. Our ‘Grandfriends’ program brings together young children and seniors, bridging two increasingly segregated population groups. These visits take place once every fortnight, enhancing the mental and social development of the children while offering companionship and support to seniors facing challenges such as isolation and dementia.
Little Scholars School of Early Learning Parkwood opened its doors in 2023. This campus holds a special place in our hearts, as it is where Jae began his early learning journey 24 years ago at Kids Campus. We are excited to continue our mission of nurturing young minds in this cherished location.
